PWM 3000 and ATS software: Performant successors to the PWM 21
For the diagnostics and adjustment of HEIDENHAIN encoders with absolute and incremental interfaces, a new adjustment and inspection package is available. It consists of the new PWM 3000 inspection device along with the ATS adjustment and inspection software.
The PWM 3000 inspection device is the functionally compatible successor to the PWM 21, offering greater flexibility, a higher bandwidth at the encoder input, and improved computing performance. The Ethernet interface of the PWM 3000 enables a convenient and reliable connection to a PC.
The ATS V4.2 adjustment and inspection software was developed specifically for the PWM 3000. It offers a mounting wizard that has been expanded to handle new encoders, and it supports EnDat 3 features such as the display of online diagnostics. The ATS software guides the user through the encoder inspection process. After it is connected to the encoder, various functions—including functions for logging the results—are available depending on the encoder interface and operating mode. In addition, the ATS software enables the expansion of your standard range of functions.
